Da has been away in Chile for a week, today he is coming home 🙂 I’m heading down to Sydney to pick him up from the airport. We’ve been blessed to have Lee here, but we have still all missed him dearly. It’s only been a week, but I really miss him. I don’t know how mothers manage with their husbands away for long periods of time, and I am grateful that Adam’s trips are usually only a few days at a time.
It’s fathers day today. As Adam will miss it, we will celebrate tomorrow instead. We took the boys into the junk shop so they could choose their own presents for Da. Eli chose some meditation balls, the ones that you roll in the one hand and they chime as they roll. Ever the practical gift chooser, Archer chose a mallet. Will chose a little frog statue that was holding a love heart <3.
Will wasn’t feeling well today, and spent the morning in my bed matching movies. The two little boys made some lovely fathers day cards. And we made a huge welcome home sign for Da to see when he walks in the door.
Welcome home sweetheart. I Love you.
